Are you a leader or a follower!!

Really? Is that really a question? I wonder why our modern minds fail to accept the duality?? A leader is someone who knows how to follow and how to lead when time comes? Leader and follower are not opposing options but they’re basic human attributes of varying degrees. True leader is the one who knows when to lead and when to follow. In professional role, I believe I’m there to serve my team. They consider me their leader only because I do not consider myself as their leader. I lead while the roads are risky or unknown, I follow when I know my team can lead better than me. True leader neither lead nor follow- all he/ she can do is apprehend what the situation demands- if the situation demands him/ her then he/ she should lead. If the situation demands someone better than him/ her- a true leader should never hesitate to promote the most deserving team mate.
